Technical Difficulties

It appears that after the most recent power outage, our hub lost all of its configuration settings.  We are trying to evaluate a temporary solution, but it might be a while before everything's completely back to normal.  We're sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.  As the end of the year is fast approaching, we'll do our best to get the hub back up soon.

Sorry!

After the rain storm last night we experienced some downtime.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  It is back up and running now.

Also someone asked the 'stu why they kept getting queued.  Each user has a set number of slots from which people can download.  Three slots means only 3 people can download from you at once.  If that number is exceeded, the hub will put you in the queue until slots have been cleared.  Sometimes you can try and force download.  This rarely works.  As a seeder of content, you can allow more slots for people to download from, but this will take up more bandwidth.

Welcome to the home of Kenster information for 2010. We hope this post finds everyone well and ready to start the fall semester. Hopefully, the problems this year will be minimal. As always, though, remember that this is not our full-time job. If problems do occur please bear with us and check back here for any IP address changes or information that could help rectify problems you may be having.

The new Kenster IP address for this year is 138.28.139.152. New users should download Shakespeer (mac users) or DC++ (PC users).
